Lectors

Lectors proclaim the word of God by reading the scripture passages for Masses offered on Saturday, Sunday, and Holy Days and for other special services throughout the church year.  
The lector’s task is to reveal God’s presence in the Liturgy of the Living Word for our parish community.  Anyone who feels called to participate in this ministry is encouraged to apply.

New lectors receive a training session to review current guidelines and procedures before serving at their first Mass.  Lectors must be EIM certified if 18 years of age or older.
