WelcomeSt. Jerome Catholic Church joyfully welcomes the faithful to participate in faith formation activities. From ages 0-100+ we have wonderful oportunities for anyone who would like to grow in their faith. We hope you take advantage of these many opportunities to EXPERIENCE CHRIST, who loves you and calls you His own!Evangelization and Catechesis supports the faith formation of adults, adolescents, and children to effectively embrace the Church’s mission both to be evangelized and to evangelize, according to the spirituality of the New Evangelization, which proposes the Gospel message anew in its “ardor, methods, and expression.” Faith and Family LifeFamilies who have children who are school age are invited to participate in a family centric catechesis program that combines at church sessions with at home family meetings. The first step to getting involved in this programming is to schedule a visit with a family minister so we can meet your family and talk about how best to serve you.Life Teen: High School - Religious EducationLife Nights (9-12): Sundays 6:15p-8:30pSmall Faith Sharing GroupsCommunity is essential to following Jesus. These groups are three or more people who meet regularly to balance Christ's purpose for them. They provide an ongoing place for people to find community, share life, and grow in faith. It is always the right time to jump into one of these groups. Invite a friend.Adult Scripture StudyThe purpose of Bible Study Groups is based on the belief that to really know our faith we must turn to sacred scripture. We must also be inspired to see the revelation of God through sacred scripture. These groups also build community and help the community plant the seed of the Kingdom so that it can grow. No training is required; just a willingness to learn about the Word of God.Adult R.C.I.A.Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process where non-catholic adults learn about the teachings of the Catholic Church. Practicing Catholics become companions to non-catholics as they journey toward the Easter sacraments. For questions please contact your perspective Ministry Leader:Dalene LondonLittle Lions Ministries, Parent's Day Out Program Associate Director of Faith and Family Life for Early Childhood [email protected] Betsy Wechter Director of Faith and Family Life [email protected] Angela Daly Associate Director of Faith and Family Life for Intergenerations [email protected] Whitney Godfrey Associate Director of Faith and Family Life for Youth [email protected] Joan Gawrych Adult Faith Formation 254-666-7722 Emily Hunter Adult R.C.I.A. 254-224-1076 |
