Photography Ministry

Purpose: To create a pictorial history of St. Jerome by photographing parish-wide activities.

Mission: To provide St. Jerome parish and its members with quality photos of current parish events and make these photos available to parish members and other entities such as print media for use as news items or for publicity.

Opportunities: Share your talents and skills with the church in a way that enhances the church’s historical database.  Become more involved in church activities, and as a result meet new people and families who share your faith as part of the St. Jerome family.

Training: You should own a digital camera and be familiar with its operation.  No special training is required, except in the use of your own camera.

Commitment: Be available during pre-specified time slots as a photographer at special church-wide functions, including Valentine’s Dinner/Dance, Easter Egg Hunt, Fall festival, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas party, Vacation Bible School, and other parish-wide activities that arise during the year.  Photographers will not be asked to photograph the entire event, and do not need to be available at every event.
